Jason Irby Participates in National Corvette Convention

Jason Irby participated in the 28th Annual International Council of Corvette Clubs (ICCC) Convention held in Little Rock, Arkansas, July 13 – 19, 2014.

Irby owns a red C6 Corvette Coupe and is a member of the local Capital City Corvette Club where he serves as Secretary. The Capital City Corvette Club hosted this year’s convention. 

Irby acted as communications information officer and escort car during the event.

As an escort car, Irby led convention members in Corvette convoys to locations where the ICCC scheduled to present contributions. Contribution recipients included Shorter College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, St. John Baptist Church Youth Department in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the American Cancer Society.  

“I enjoy being a part of organizations that give back to communities and support efforts to encourage our youth, “Irby said.

The weeklong event ended with a grand finale which included a car show and awards banquet.

Former Capital City Corvette Club president Billy Brooks was elected vice-president of the ICCC.

Irby’s Love Within Life series of books addresses issues pertaining to community, family and shared relationships among individuals.
