Author Jason Irby will recognize Dr. Daniel F. Littlefield at the Eighth (8th) Annual Arkansas Heritage Celebration of Black History Month “Legend Among Us” presentation.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library and Learning Center located at 4800 W. 10th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Dr. Daniel F. Littlefield, Jr. is selected as a Legend Among Us among our 2023 Legend Among Us recipients.
Dr. Littlefield has dedicated decades of his life to research and sharing the historical significance of his studies.
Littlefield established the world renowned Sequoyah National Research Center located on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In his research, Littlefield has revealed the relationship among Native-American Heritage and African-American Heritage. Stories and historical documents that were not commonly known have been made available. His work and research has become Legendary. Many are finding their roots through Dr. Littlefield’s life’s work.

The Eighth (8th) Annual Arkansas Heritage Celebration of Black History Month will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will end at noon to be followed by a Black History Program presented by the Central Arkansas Library System.
