and Arkansas State Love Within Life: So, You Want to Stop Violence? Senator Stephanie Flowers of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, will host a National Domestic Violence Awareness Month event.
The session will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Office of Senator Flowers, 217 Main Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Local experts will focus on the topic of violence, resolutions, and community responsibility. Free refreshments will be served.
2016 Women’s History Month Observance was an awesome event. Author Jason Irby was joined by a dynamic and multi-dimensional panel of distinguished women. The panelists presented warm, yet direct dialogue and freely discussed both professional and personal aspects of their lives and contributions of women in history.
“The panelists and audience embraced each other’s passion, faith and energy which created a feeling of a family-style atmosphere,” Irby stated.
