UPDATE! Join Jason Irby for Domestic Violence Observance Event on October 21, 2017

Join author Jason Irby, Arkansas State Senator Stephanie Flowers, and Dorcas Vangilst, Director at the Dorcus House on Saturday, October 21, 2017 to observe National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The event will be located at 217 Main Street, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, beginning at 2:00 p.m.  This year’s theme is “Awareness, Wellness, and Choices” focusing on violence prevention, resolutions, and contributions of the community.

Author and Humanitarian Jason Irby Honors Local Pioneer and Pacesetter

Dr. Wanda M. Hamilton received recognition before an attentive audience for her historical community and civic contributions at the annual Women’s History Month Observance hosted by author Jason Irby.

Hamilton was unable to accept her award at the 2nd annual Arkansas Heritage Celebration of Black History Month due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Arkansas Heritage Celebration of Black History Month was established by Jason Irby in February 2016 as part of his Awareness, Wellness, and Choices forum.
