Jason Irby Innovation Foundation and the Sequoyah National Research Center to Acknowledge the History of Black Indians for the 5th Year

November is Native American Heritage Month. Since 2018, author Jason Irby and Daniel F. Littlefield, founder of the Sequoyah National Research Center, have presented the Annual Black Indian and Native American Heritage Month Fair

This year, the presentation emphasized the contributions of Native, Black Indians and Freedmen who served our country by serving in the United States military.

The Sequoyah National Research Center shared an exhibit at the Corvettes and Veterans Salute and Ceremony, a car show and veterans day celebration held at War Memorial Stadium and Park in Little Rock Arkansas.

The presentation showcased an exhibit and items highlighting Native American Tribes and Nations, Black Indians and Freedmen, and other related interests surrounding World War I and World War II.

More information about Native Americans and Black Indians who participated and served can be found at the Sequoyah National Research Center.

The Corvettes and Veterans Salute and Ceremony was held to honor and celebrate the 75th anniversary of War Memorial Stadium (a living veterans memorial), the 70th anniversary of the Chevy Corvette (the iconic American sports car), and the 100th anniversary of Arkansas State Parks (War Memorial Stadium was inducted in 2017).

More about the Corvettes and Veterans Salute and Ceremony can be found at corvettesandveteransusa.wordpress.com.

The Corvettes and Veterans Salute and Ceremony was founded by Jason Irby and November 11, 2023 was the inauguration year.
